Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c Sugar
- 1/2 c Light Corn Syrup
- 1/2 c Water
- 1 pinch Salt
- 2 c Raw Peanuts
- 1 tbsp Unsalted Butter
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 tsp Vanilla
Grease a baking sheet.
Combine sugar, corn syrup, water, and salt in a large glass bowl. Mix in peanuts. Microwave for 5 minutes.
Stir. Microwave for 5 more minutes and stir, then 3-4 more minutes and stir.
Check temperature, microwaving for additional time until the mixture reaches 300F (hard crack stage).
Stir in butter, baking soda, and vanilla just until butter is melted. Quickly pour onto greased baking sheet and spread as thinly as possible.
Break into pieces when cool.
